In Spring 2019, inspired by our parents and our own futures as older adults, we created HestaHub as a simple, elegant digital home ecosystem we want to support us as we age.
Using modern technologies, HestaHub lets loved ones know when something seems wrong at home, so they don’t have to guess when to check in, the home nudges them.
Creating and presenting HestaHub at Collision 2019 remains an innovation highlight, and inspiration for enhancing the trustworthiness of AI.

The Concept
Collision 2019
We showcased our HestaHub concept at Collision. It was very early days and a great example of the value of sharing the concept as soon as possible with real people to get feedback. We were honoured and inspired to take the concept to the next level.
Envisioning Chat
HestaHub has to be easy to use. This is especially important for the chat that forms the connection between the home and family. We envisioned using a common chat platform so we aren’t asking people to learn something new just because it’s easier for us.
